Industrial gases according to their different chemical properties can be divided into four categories:
⑴ highly toxic gases, highly toxic, into the human body can cause poisoning or even death. Such as chlorine, ammonia and so on.
⑵ flammable gas, with the flammability and chemical explosion risk, and have some toxicity. Such as hydrogen, acetylene and so on.
⑶ combustion gas, with combustion-supporting capacity, but it does not burn, there is the danger of expanding the fire, such as oxygen and so on.
⑷ non-combustible gases, asphyxiation to humans, the nature of the stable, non-flammable, such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide and argon. In the national standard GB13690-1992, the above 4 kinds of gases are divided into 3 sub-categories, that is, 2.1 inflammable gases, 2.2 non-combustible gases (including combustion-supporting gases), 2.3 toxic gases
